Our Secretariat Welcomes you to YMUN Latin America II!

Dear delegates, advisors, parents, and future diplomats,

I am delighted to invite you to the second iteration of Yale Model United Nations Latin America, taking place from May 16th to May 18th 2025, in Mexico City. I am honored to serve as Secretary-General for this conference to expand on Yale MUN’s mission towards increasing access to Model UN conferences all over the world. YMUN Latam is dedicated to values of education, excellence, and teamwork. I can assure you that our Secretariat is working hard to make this conference the best it can be.

YMUN Latam promises to be an unforgettable and unique experience for delegates and advisors. At YMUN Latam, hundreds of high school students will tackle pressing global issues and expose themselves to diverse perspectives. During the three days of committee, our main goal is to challenge you to think critically and engage with fellow delegates. As global representatives, you'll dive into historical conflicts, explore humanitarian crises, and work together to find common ground on worldwide debates. You'll draft and pass numerous resolutions addressing a range of global challenges, all while developing your leadership and teamwork skills that are vital for future leaders.
