Dear Delegates, Advisors, Parents, and Community Members,

Welcome to Yale Model United Nations Latin America!

My name is Yoselin Colin, and I am honored to serve as the Secretary-General of YMUN Latin America III, taking place from May 22-24, 2026, in Santa Fe, Mexico City, Mexico. This conference represents Yale MUN’s mission to expand equitable access to Model UN experiences across the globe.

YMUN Latin America is built on the values of education, diplomacy, and teamwork. Over three days, delegates will engage with pressing global issues, explore diverse perspectives, and challenge themselves to think critically and creatively. From historical conflicts to humanitarian crises, delegates will draft and pass resolutions while honing research, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Our committees will be led by dedicated Yale undergraduate chairs who bring expertise and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, intellectually rigorous environment. Our conference will feature 13 committees, from General Assemblies, Economic and Social Councils, to Crisis and Specialized Committees, each designed for varying experience levels. With comprehensive topic guides, resources on parliamentary procedure, and training materials in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, we ensure every participant is equipped to excel.

YMUN LATAM also extends beyond committee sessions. Through speaker engagements, panel discussions, workshops, and a delegate dance, we aim to bridge in-committee experiences with real-world impact and encourage delegates to form new connections.

Registration is now open! Spots are limited, and a waitlist will open once we reach 500 delegates. Given the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Mexico City in June 2026, hotel costs will rise significantly. We encourage you to register and secure hotel accommodations as soon as possible to avoid expensive hotel costs.
